SUMMARY:Full Moon at Love’s Way – Return to The Fire
DESCRIPTION:Come as you are. Find your rhythm.\nEach full moon, we gather around the fire at Love’s Way to step away from the noise and return to something simpler: rhythm, nature, shared food, friendship and room to breathe.\n\nThis is a publicly open gathering hosted on private land near Denison, Texas. You do not need to be an experienced drummer—or even own a drum—to belong in the circle. Bring an instrument, borrow one of ours, dance, listen, sit beside the fire or simply enjoy being present.\n\nDrumming is more than making noise. It asks us to listen beyond our own sound, find our place in the collective rhythm and contribute without needing words. When we make it about more than ourselves, rhythm becomes connection—and profound medicine.\nWhat to Expect\nThe evening may include:\n\n Community drum circle and dancing\n A restorative sound bath\n Firelight, conversation and fellowship\n Potluck dinner and cooking in the Cook Shack\n Woodland trails, creeks and time in nature\n Optional overnight camping\n Sunday-morning fellowship, breakfast and a nature walk for overnight campers\n\nExtra drums are available, and other instruments are welcome. Flutes, shakers, hand percussion, didgeridoos and acoustic instruments can all find a place in the evening.\nSchedule\n\n 2:00 p.m. — Gates open for campers, hikers and anyone who wants more time on the land\n 6:00 p.m. — Potluck and cookout\n 7:00 p.m. — Opening circle\n 10:00 p.m. — Gate closes to new arrivals\n\nPlease arrive before 10:00 p.m. The gathering may continue after the gate closes.\nFood and Fellowship\nBring something to share for the potluck, or bring ingredients and cook one of your favorites in the Cook Shack. Cooking, eating and helping one another are part of the experience—not simply something that happens before the drumming.\n\nOvernight campers are invited to gather again Sunday morning for fellowship, breakfast around the grill and a peaceful walk through the trails.\nCamping, Tents and RVs\nCamping is optional. Love’s Way is a private nature reserve with wooded trails, creeks, wildlife and plenty of quiet space beneath the trees.\n\nA limited number of tents may be available, if you need to borrow one contact us ahead of time. Limited RV spaces may also be possible with advance notice. Please reach out before the event so we can confirm availability and help you prepare:\n\nhttps://lovesway.info/contact-us/ ( https://lovesway.info/contact-us/ )\n\nThis is a primitive camping experience. We have a portable toilet, water hose and barn/cook shack, but this is not a developed campground. Bring what you need to be comfortable outdoors.\nWhat to Bring\nConsider bringing:\n\n A drum or other acoustic instrument, if you have one\n A chair or blanket\n Food or drinks to share\n Drinking water\n Weather-appropriate clothing\n Camping equipment if staying overnight\n An open heart and a peaceful spirit\n\nIf you do not have a drum, come anyway. We have extras to share.\nTrail Use and Safety\nOur woodland trails are one of the gifts we enjoy sharing at Love’s Way. You’re welcome to explore them on foot or with an approved quiet electric recreational device. Gas-powered recreational vehicles are not permitted so we do not disturb the wildlife or the peaceful character of the land.\n\nTo help us care for everyone who visits, each person using the trails must check in and complete a Trail Use Assumption of Risk and Release form. Anyone operating an electric recreational or personal-mobility device must wear appropriate safety equipment, remain on marked trails, travel at a safe speed, and yield to pedestrians and wildlife. Helmets are required for bicycles, scooters, self-balancing boards, and similar exposed-rider devices. Lights are required after dark.\n\nChildren are welcome to enjoy the trails with their families. Minors may use the trails only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian and after the parent or guardian has completed the required release. Trail and device use is always optional; Love’s Way does not provide riding instruction or certify the ability of individual operators.\n\nThis is a leave-no-trace gathering. Please take everything you bring onto the trails back out with you, give wildlife plenty of space, and help us protect the natural beauty of the land.\n\nThe land has been prayed over and cared for with love for years. Slow down, listen and allow it to speak to you.\nChildren, Weather and Community\nThe gathering is adult-centered, but children are welcome when they are included in their parents’ experience. Parents are responsible for watching and caring for their children, and we ask every adult to help maintain a wholesome example around them.\n\nIf it rains, we may move into the barn. Gathering in nature means working with the weather rather than expecting everything to be perfect.\n\nLove’s Way is rooted in faith, gratitude, humility and service. Brian opens his home and land as a servant of Jesus Christ while welcoming people from many walks of life who seek wholesome connection. Come peacefully, treat others with kindness and leave drama behind.\nCost and Donations\nThe event is free and supported by donations.\n\nIf you are in a season of abundance, please consider helping us care for the land and continue making gatherings like this possible. If you are not in a season of abundance, come share in the abundance of the community without worrying about cost.\n\nDonations support Keepers of Love’s Way Inc., the nonprofit organization that cares for the camp and helps make these gatherings possible:\n\nDonate here:\nhttps://lovesway.givingfuel.com/loves-way-foundation-fund ( https://lovesway.givingfuel.com/loves-way-foundation-fund )\nLocation\nLove’s Way\n92 Hidden Meadows Lane\nDenison, Texas 75021\nDirections from Denison\nTake Main Street east as it becomes FM 120. About half a mile outside town, turn right onto FM 1753. Continue approximately 2.8 miles and turn left at the Singletree Road sign. Singletree Road becomes Oak Ridge Road.\n\nContinue approximately two miles through the curves and look for the Love’s Way sign on the left. Enter the private drive, cross the bridge and continue until you see the Love’s Way gate on the right.\nStay Connected\nJoin the event mailing list for future full-moon gatherings:\n\nhttps://lovesway.info/event-email-list/ ( https://lovesway.info/event-email-list/ )\n\nFacebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1472625078244829/ ( https://www.facebook.com/events/1472625078244829/ )\n\nCome as you are. Bring your rhythm—or simply bring yourself. We’ll meet you around the fire.
